I've been fortunate enough to work with a number of great people on some exciting projects. Here are just a few highlights of the projects I've worked on.
The Getty wanted a digital label system to accompany ten cases of coins and gems at the Villa. As well as displaying informational and descriptive text on each item in the case, they also wanted to use ultra-high resolution images to allow users to view extreme close-ups of the tiny coins and gems in the case. I developed a system for handling huge images on regular mobile hardware that would not normally handle such massive images.
The Asian Arts Museum wanted a custom wayfinding kiosk and visitor app to help guide guests around the building and to help them locate content of interest. I created a navigation and wayfinding system to help navigate visitors between points of interest. This included a real-time pathing system that updates as you walk around the building, showing you the fastest or the most accessible route, depending on your preference. Accessible routes ignore stairs.
The SFCJL wanted an app to help residents and prospective residents to explore the campus and help navigate to on-site facilities. I integrated the realtime 3D map and created a navigation system to track facilities between four different buildings.
